Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1995 in Stavanger and professionally referred to as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized as AURORA is a Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the record label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from music bloggers and the press. The singer has released a number of high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which were widely appreciated. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway with her voice, also gave her the track a little more attention. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music more as a hobby than as a job. She began to write with her own music. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favorite songwriters. Her mother had said that her songs could not only help her gain fame, however, they could also help others understand their significance to the world and appreciate the possibilities for them, she decided to begin performing publicly. Her mother suggested that she perform her songs publicly in order to make people aware of their importance and the ways they impact the world. Family members didn't even know about this until she turned fourteen. It was never a dream to become Aurora. The only thing she loves is writing songs. For her, music is the best method to experience anything.
