Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of existence, such as taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011they renewed their vows following her conversion to Judaism. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk has played a range of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 for this role. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk revealed to her followers that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the series. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple of the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
